About EOS

The EOS Foundation is an independent charitable trust governed by an independent Board of Trustees:

John Sansby - Chairman

John Barratt - Treasurer

Graham Blagden

Tony Jackson

Stuart de Prochnow

Day to day management and administration of the trust is provided by Charis Grants.

Funding is provided through donations received from a range of utility companies operating in the South of England. Grants can be made to clear or reduce water arrears of people living in households supplied by one or more of the donor companies. Occasionally, grants can be made for other essential items of expenditure.  These are known as Further Assistance Payments.

The EOS Foundation has been structured to accommodate the incorporation of further supporting companies from across the utilities sector. Discussions are currently taking place with a number of energy and water companies.

John Cogley, Director of Customer Services at Portsmouth Water, said "The Foundation offers an excellent opportunity for utility companies of all sizes to help fulfil their social responsibility effectively through a mechanism which has already been put in place and proven to work successfully".
