About EOS

The EOS Foundation is an independent charitable trust governed by an independent Board of Trustees:

Tony Jackson - Chairman

John Barratt - Treasurer

Graham Blagden

Stuart de Prochnow

Gerry Keyworth

Nigel Foster

Day to day management and administration of the Foundation is provided by Charis Grants.

Funding is provided through donations received from a range of utility companies operating predominantly within the South of England. Grants can be made to clear or reduce water arrears of people living in households supplied by one or more of the donor companies. Very occasionally, grants can be made for help with other essential household bills and costs.  These are known as Further Assistance Payments.

The Eos Foundation has been structured to accommodate the incorporation of further supporting companies from across the utilities sector.

John Cogley, Director of Customer Services at Portsmouth Water, said "The Foundation offers an excellent opportunity for utility companies of all sizes to help fulfil their social responsibility effectively through a mechanism which has already been put in place and proven to work successfully".
